about

This song comes from a long way back and has developed over the years, until Tim and Hami put the icing on the cake to get it ready for 'Angels in the Attic'. The lyric comes from a combination of the urban myth that Walt Disney had his head cryogenically preserved after he died, and a Dennis Potter play 'Cold Lazarus'. Plus my hatred of hollywood, with its penchant for happy endings (ok there are some fine exceptions).

lyrics

Verse
Where have you been, amongst the missing? Did you spend your time in a fucked up dream
Were your eyes open - as you were frozen,
They say you didn't blink for a thousand years

Bridge
The cold head opens up its eyes and wonders how many times?
The cold head tries to raise a smile it's very hard to sympathise

Chorus
The cold head cries

Verse
See what youve done, all those happy endings
You plant the seed and the people believe
Now look what we've found in the back of your mind, Its another happy ending
It's time for you you to think again

Bridge and Chorus

Outro
and he never writes home (the cold head cries) he's lost a lot of weight there's a dull look in his eyes check his pulse its fading shall we send him to the hospital
